CXR Larus to Present at Government Synchronization Workshop 2007
Government Synchronization Workshop 2007 to showcase the
latest in Synchronization and Timing Technologies to Military
and Governmental Customers San Jose, California- [December 15, 2006]- CXR Larus Corporation, an
industry leading network timing, test and access solutions equipment
supplier, and the Government Synchronization Workshop, a
non-vendor specific event bringing together telecommunications
professionals from the DISA Timing and Synchronization Modernization
Team, the leading Timing and Synchronization industry vendors, and the
leading Timing and Synchronization subject matter experts, today
announced the educational programs to be offered at the upcoming
Government Synchronization Workshop 2007 hosted at the
SI International facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, February
7-8, 2007.
CXR Larus Corporation will be presenting "The Basics of BITS
", which will address Building Integrated Timing Supply (BITS)
applications, and discuss the basic building blocks of a network timing
plan. Topics covered will include BITS history, the fundamentals of
network timing, including SONET and Sync Status Messaging, and the
common terminologies and technologies related to network timing will be
explained.
We encourage any governmental or military timing and synchronization
deployment professional to register for the Government Synchronization
Workshop 2007, and take advantage of the comprehensive educational
programming offered. Additionally, attendees will hear presentations
from top industry professionals, the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST) and the United States Naval Observatory (USNO).
