Government Synchronization Workshop 2008 to showcase

latest in Synchronization and Timing Technologies

the Government Synchronization Workshop, a non-vendor specific event

programs to be offered at the upcoming Government Synchronization
Workshop 2008 (GSW2008). The GSW 2008 will be held at
the Crowne Plaza Dulles Airport Hotel, September 9-10, 2008.

Outside the Box", which will address unique installation engineering
issues often overlooked when working with GPS based timing and
synchronization equipment. Topics such as GPS signal fundamentals,
coaxial cable and antenna selection and options, equipment installation
considerations, lightning protection, and proper equipment grounding
will be covered. In addition, topics specific to Next Generation NTP and
PTP packet timing installations will be addressed.
